Music and Stuff…

I used to, at one time, listen to nothing but the Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees. Then midway through high school, I started to listen to Nickelback, Linkin Park, State of Shock, Green Day and Simple Plan among others. Then over the last few months I started getting into Techno/Pop and other stuff. And I blame it on a song called Hollowpoint Sniper Hyperbole by Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker which I completely through luck, just happened to turn on the car radio on the way back from doing a last minute run on my last day of my college co-op. Now I listen to Basshunter and Cascada which are awesome along with Lights and Chelsea Blue. I know a computer geek/video gamer shouldn’t be listening to techno music while playing Battlefield 2 and Halo or any other game I own for the PC, PS3, or Xbox as I have been made fun of for it by most of my gamer friends. But theres something about the beats and rhythms that gets my blood flowing. In this mindset, I find it helps to think. I find it works well for focusing on homework and studying for tests.

Now back to other things. I can’t wait for school to be over. I am thinking of pursuing either 3D animation or Film school in the future as coding software all day is starting to bore me as a career in programming. I do web design on the side but I doubt I will do it full-time unless its to support my own business. Next week I am starting my weight loss for skydiving at the Niagara Skydive School in Dunnville with my Uncle Al next summer for anyone that wants to come, the weight limit is 230 lbs and a PFF I think is around 220 bucks plus tax. I think this idea to skydive will be what finally forces me to do stick to it and never give up. I have chosen next week to make sure the weather is cool enough for me to go as I get tired very quickly in the heat due to the shape I am in. I am around 250 now, my goal is 220 but I want to get to 200. Then I will be able to do all the sports that I wanted to do and look a little more better looking…lol

The thing that confuses me the most about my life so far is first I wanted to be an engineer, then a computer programmer, then a game designer. Now I am getting into the 3D Animation/CGI effects stuff and on top of that. I am getting these film-making and music ideas in my head. I am going from what I find cool to things I am slowly becoming passionate about. The only thing is Film Making is easy to learn and music is hard since the last time I singed anything was like 4-5 years ago and at that, it was karaoke in my house. Maybe I had to try things I wouldn’t enjoy to see what I do truly enjoy. Hoping next year, I figure out once and for all what I want to do for a living as college is starting to get really expensive. At least I have a diploma to fall back on if my dreams fail. If they work they work, if they don’t then oh well. Talk to you all later.
